And, how do you nail the personal and fun part when you or your partner struggle to put your feelings into words? Let me tell you – you are not alone.

You have enough things to worry about on your wedding day. Creating a wedding ceremony that flows together gracefully and writing personal vows that express how you truly feel about the love of your life is no easy feat. Let me help you celebrate your unique love story, your way – without all the stress!

Maybe…

  • You’ve never done this before and you’re not sure what to do (or maybe you have and you want to get it RIGHT this time)
  • You’re nervous about writing personal vows or you’re likely to procrastinate
  • You’ve never been good at putting your feelings into words
  • You’re shy about speaking in front of a large group of people (even if they’re all your friends and family)
  • Your mortified at the thought of selecting someone to perform your wedding ceremony who might embarrass you
  • You’ve attended weddings that all felt the same and you didn’t enjoy them
  • You’re anxious about how to make your vision come to life

You don’t get any do-overs. Celebrate your wedding, YOUR way.

I evoke your own thoughts and feelings into words that truly reflect the best parts of who you are and the unique story behind how you got there… The personal and heartfelt touches will make your guests both laugh and cry.

We’ll take the time to really get to know each other and your guests will feel that genuine connection – like an old friend has brought them all together to celebrate your love. What is most important to you?…

We’ll create a wedding ceremony based on your wants and needs. Want to elope on top of a mountain? Let me grab my boots! Are you thinking a mix of traditional and modern fits you best? I got you. Does it feel like the perfect time to renew your vows? Count me in! I have a package just for YOU…

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Welcome Kit

I’ll welcome you with a kit that I’ve put together just for you – including a personal letter, some very important tips including guidance in obtaining your marriage license, a timeline of our work together and availability to schedule our intake meeting so, that you’re well informed about what’s to come.

Intake Meeting

We’ll kick back at a cozy spot to simply chat like old friends do – I want to know everything about how you got to where you are today. I’ll dive below the surface to gain an understanding of the best parts of who you are as individuals and what makes you shine as a couple. I’ll ask thoughtful questions like; how you first met, the story behind your proposal, your personal beliefs and what you value in your relationship so, that I can uncover what’s most important to you about the way you envision celebrating your marriage.

Behind the Scenes

At this point, my cup is already spilling over with ideas –  I’ll begin putting them to paper in sections like building blocks that allow me the creative freedom to curate a personalized wedding ceremony that flows together naturally. And, because this is a collaborative process, I’ll circle back to you with follow up questions, bits of inspiration and guidance so, that I can support you in savoring this experience leading up to your big day.

Drafting and Planning

I’ll be coordinating your rehearsal which means, you’ll receive access to my custom wedding rehearsal planning guide – this will get you thinking about some of the logistical pieces and answer questions like; “what is a processional and recessional?”, “which side do we stand on?” and “do we need a microphone?” – giving you the benefit of having everything sorted out in advance. About a month before your wedding day, we’ll meet again to fill out your rehearsal guide together and go through each element of your ceremony draft in length, allowing us plenty of time to tweak some words and move things around, to ensure that it feels just right before I send over the final copy for your approval so, that you feel confident that everything is under control.

Wedding Week

I’ll check in with you one last time before the big day so, that you can turn your attention to ironing out any last minute details and projects. In my email, I’ll re-confirm times and locations for the rehearsal and day of, along with my personal best tips for enjoying every bit of your wedding week. We’ll kick off the festivities with a fun-filled rehearsal with your wedding party and provide you with the ultimate peace of mind that everything will go smoothly the following day. On your wedding day, you can trust that I’ll arrive early to offer you my support, provide attention to details such as; running a sound check, greeting your guests with a warm smile and executing our ceremony timeline. Following the ceremony, we’ll sneak away to sign your marriage license, providing the perfect opportunity for you to catch your breath and enjoy an intimate moment alone so, that you are able to be fully present in this moment.

Wedding, Wedding Officiant, Maine Wedding“Vivianna was an absolute joy to work with, and we were SO happy to have her as our wedding officiant! She worked with us to create a ceremony that was personal and meaningful to us as a couple, and we were so very pleased with how it turned out! Vivianna was very responsive as we communicated with her to put together the type of ceremony we were looking for, and she really showed that she cared about us as individuals throughout the whole process. Most importantly, Vivianna was just such a sweet, genuine, positive person to have around on what sometimes be a bit of a hectic day at times – I can’t stress the importance of this enough! We felt very comfortable around her – which helped to make the whole ceremony an amazing experience for us – one which we will cherish forever. Thank you, Vivianna!!”

Maine Wedding Officiant - Gateway Celebrations | Maine Wedding“I had the honor of having Vivianna be mine and my husband’s officiant. Vivianna was/is absolutely amazing, I cannot rave enough about her. She helped me with every aspect of wedding planning from making the itinerary for the big day, to reminding me of the little details I almost forgot, to passing my ring bearer and two flower girls lollipops (for when they reached the end of the aisle) to help them stay standing still at the gazebo. Not only did she write our beautiful and funny ceremony but we requested that it be infused with specific Disney quotes that had a lot of meaning to my husband and I. She nailed it!!! All of our guests mentioned to us throughout the night how she described our relationship through Disney perfectly!!! To this day, I sometimes read our ceremony/vows and will still tear up because of how beautifully those words were written. I cannot thank you enough Vivianna!

A little about me…

I believe that everyone deserves to be asked – “What does your wedding ceremony mean to YOU?” As your wedding Officiant, it is my pleasure to listen to you open up about all of the little and big moments you’ve shared and learn about the force that draws you to each other.  I simply can’t wait to learn more about what makes you and your love story unique!

When I’m not officiating weddings, I’m making the most out of this season of life with my beautiful, outdoor loving family – chasing a beautiful view, playing in the snow, dancing in the kitchen or soaking up some sun at the lake. In the quieter months, I am jumping at any opportunity to grow and engage with my local wedding community – allowing me to continuously deliver my couples fresh ideas, the most up-to-date information, reliable vendor referrals and a Wedding Officiant who’s eagerly awaiting the next wedding!

It would be my honor to present your story.

Don’t wait to book your consultation call!
