I believe that every couple deserves to be asked – “What does your wedding ceremony mean to YOU?”

Not long ago, I was working a stable job in insurance and financial services as a customer relations specialist – where my attention to detail, organizational skills and gregarious personality, came in quite handy. Although, I excelled in my field for one of the top brands in the industry – I found that over time, I was driven far more by having a passionate connection to my work than anything else…

But, during this time, my job required that I be a notary public. In Maine, this title allows you to legally perform marriage ceremonies within the state of Maine.

And so it began…

Just four years ago, some friends of mine had decided that their engagement had lasted long enough and they were eager to finally get hitched – leaving them with just a few short months to pull together a beautiful, yet relaxed, lake-side ceremony on the beach in Maine.

Knowing I had no experience officiating weddings, they trusted me whole-heartedly to guide them through their journey to the altar and solemnize their marriage in front of all their friends and family. I’ll never forget that day… Full of emotions, I spent the car ride home reflecting on how incredible it was that I was gifted the honor of playing such an important role in one of the most momentous occasions of their life.

From then on, I was hooked. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that I am called to do this work. To support you, inspire you and celebrate, right along with you.

Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to guide an incredible array of couples through the process of getting married and planning their wedding ceremony – gaining the experience and resources needed to give you the peace of mind that allows you to truly relax and soak it all in…

I simply can’t wait to learn more about what makes you and your love story unique!

When I’m not officiating weddings, I’m making the most out of this season of life with my beautiful, outdoor-loving family. In my off-season, I am jumping at any opportunity to grow and engage with my local wedding community – allowing me to continuously deliver my couples fresh ideas, the most up-to-date information, reliable vendor referrals and a Wedding Officiant who’s eagerly awaiting the next wedding!
